Merry Christmas!

Hello,

I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!! We woke up this morning to a white Christmas! I love having snow on Christmas day as long as everyone can have safe travels.

I wanted to share a quick post today showing you the hand sanitizer mini gift that I had mentioned in my last post. I made several of these for my mom to give to the girls at the physician's office. My battery died before I could take a picture of the inside. You can see what the inside would look like by clicking here. I used the Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper on this project. (I love this DSP!) All Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper is double-sided.

Let me know if you have any questions about how this box was put together.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great day!

Missing In Action

Hello,

I just wanted to give you a quick update and apologize for not posting to my blog for the past week. As you all know, it has been very busy around here trying to get things ready for Christmas! I have had a couple of projects that I have been finishing up the last couple of nights. My mom & daughter have asked me to make them some of the hand sanitizer mini gifts. My daughter is giving them to preschool teachers and my mom is giving them to the girls at the physician's office. I hope they like them. My daughter picked them up last night and I forgot to take a picture of them, but hopefully when I complete the others this evening, I will take a picture and share it here on my blog. So....keep checking back

Have a great day!

Winter Post

Hello,

Well...another very cold day here in Bedford today! I am so ready for Spring! Anyone else?? I will start off by apologizing for the quality of this photo. I took this picture of my card after I came home from work this evening and the sun had already gone down. My camera flash makes the Dazzling Diamonds on this card really shine. It is much prettier in person. This card was really quick and easy to put together minus a trail of Dazzling Diamonds everywhere. By the time I finished, I had sparkly pants, shirt and even socks. While I was getting ready for bed I even noticed sparkles on my face. Oh how I love Dazzling Diamonds!!

Here are the items used in this card:

Winter Post Stamp Set
Bells & Boughs Stamp Set
Crumb Cake Card Stock
Cherry Cobbler Card Stock
Very Vanilla Card Stock
Stampin' Up! Ink Pads
Stampin' Write Markers
Dazzling Diamonds
Scallop Oval Punch
Ticket Corner Punch
Victoria 5/8" Crochet Trim
Antique Brads

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great day!

Artistic Etchings

Hello Everyone,

Brrrrrrrrr.....It has been a very cold day here in Indiana today!! I hope you are staying warm. I am already in my flannel pj's and I'm ready to grab my blanket and my December Stampin' Success magazine and I will be set for the night. Stampin' Success is a monthly magazine that all SU demonstrator's receive. It is full of project ideas and articles on ways to build your business. I look forward to receiving this magazine every month!! Have I already told you that I LOVE Stampin' Up! This is an awesome company! Awesome product and Awesome friendships.

I have been wanting to use this stamp set for a while, so yesterday I decided to add some ink to it. This stamp set is called: Artistic Etchings. There are 6 images in this set and it comes in wood mount or clear mount. The Designer Series Paper I used is: Love Letter. I used Basic Black 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon cut in half and frayed one edge. I added Sticky Strip to my card and then ruffled the ribbon on top of this. Another SU favorite I used were the punches: Ticket Corner, Scallop Oval and Photo Corners.

If you have any questions about any product used on this card, please don't hesitate to contact me at: sraines1107@att.net. If you would like to see what Stampin' Up! has to offer, just check out my website at: shellyraines.stampinup.net.

Wow....December Already!!

Hello Everyone,

Can you believe it is December 1st?? Where has this year gone? It amazes me how fast time flies by! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We went to my Daughter's house in Bloomfield for Thanksgiving. We had so much fun and ate and ate until we couldn't eat anymore. We hit the Black Friday sales starting at Walmart Thursday evening around 11:30pm. Then it was JC Penneys at 4:00am, then to Bloomington Lowes and Kohl's. We all just about shopped until we dropped. We did find a lot of bargains, but there are a lot of crazy people out there!

The card I posted today uses the Greeting Card Kids stamp set (see image above). I love this set! I have seen so many cute projects using this stamp set. I'm sure you will see me using it quite often here on my blog!

Items used on this card:

Greeting Card Kids stamp set
Four the Holidays stamp set
Crumb Cake Card Stock
Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper
Cherry Cobbler Card Stock
Whisper White Card Stock
Dazzling Diamonds
Silver Brads

Ticket Corner Punch
