Thank You ~ Baby Card

Hello,

My daughter is expecting and her place of employment had a baby shower for her recently. She came to me asking for a "Thank You" baby card, so this is what I came up with. If you follow my blog, this card may look familiar. I actually made another baby card almost identical to this one and posted it earlier. You can see it here. I did change the greeting by replacing the banner in the previous card with this Jewelry Tag punched greeting.

(Sorry for the poor lighting)

I started off with Pool Party card stock as my card base. I then used Whisper White card stock and ran it through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. I used Tiny Tags stamp set to make the banner and then punched this out using the coordinating Jewelry Tag punch. The little duck is stamp with Easy Events stamp set and then I colored in the image using Pool Party & Daffodil Delight ink pads and the Aqua-Painter. I punched the duck image out using 1 3/4" Circle punch. Then I ran Pool Party card stock through the Big Shot using the Tasteful Trim Die. I added 1/8" Daffodil Delight Taffeta Ribbon and Brads. I then used White Baker's Twine to tie my banner together, then I added Basic Pearls.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Snow Much Fun Money Card

Hello,

I came across a video back sometime ago on YouTube on how to make this Money Card. I wish I knew who to give credit to for making this video, because it is such a great idea! I kept the base of my card the same as the video, but I completely changed the rest of my card. I LOVE this stamp set called Snow Much Fun. Just think how cute this stamp set would be to use on your winter scrapbook pages!

Here is what the inside looks like:
(Before giving this card away, I would stamp a sentiment and decorate the inside a little more. I just wanted to show you the basic card.)

Supplies used:

Cherry Cobbler card stock, Always Artichoke card stock, Whisper White card stock, Regals Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack, Snow Much Fun stamp set, Tiny Tags stamp set, Jewelry Tag punch, Corner punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch, 1-3/8" Circle punch, Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon, Vintage Trinkets, Silver Brads and Classic Stampin' Ink Pads.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge #220

Hello,

Wow....I am enjoying this Fall like weather that we have been having lately! I am so ready for cooler weather! But, with this cooler weather, I had to go to the Doctor on Thursday and I have Bronchitis, Pharyngitis and a double ear infection. So....I have been feeling pretty lousy the last couple of days. Hopefully, I will be on the road to recovery very soon! I am so sick of coughing!!

For today's card, I decided to play along with the Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge #220. Since the weather is cooler and it is September, I decided to make a Halloween card for this sketch. Let me know what you think!

Basic Black card stock, Pumpkin Pie card stock, Brights Collection Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack, Very Vanilla card stock, Spider Web Embossing Folder, Dark & Dreary stamp set, Wicked Cool stamp set, Tiny Tags stamp set, Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch, Jewelry Tag punch, Modern Label punch, Word Window punch, Neutrals brads, Vintage Trinkets, Hemp Twine and Classic Stampin' Ink Pads.

For Baby

Hello,

I promised to post this baby card that I recently made, so here it is:

I am really happy with the way this card turned out. I started off with Pool Party card stock as my card base. I then used Whisper White card stock and ran it through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. I used Pennant Parade stamp set to make the pennant banner and then punched this out using the coordinating Petite Pennants punch. I then used White Baker's Twine to tie my banner together.

I LOVE Stampin' Up! punches and Dies! Stampin' Up! has made it easy for us to make great scrapbook layouts, cards or any paper craft projects by giving us coordinating color collections, stamp images and embellishments. I love how I can match my ribbon, buttons, brads, inks and card stock, designers series paper, etc. and my project will always match perfect.

Have a great weekend!
