Scallop Purse

Hello,

How cute is this little Scallop Purse? We had our monthly Stampin' Up! downline meeting last Saturday and it was my turn to provide a make-n-take for our group to make. After searching YouTube for a fun project, this is what I came up with. I found this great tutorial here. I did make a few changes, but the basic Scallop Purse is the same.

Here is a view of the back:

Once opened, there is a clear pocket that you can put a gift card in or a Ghirardelli chocolate. Yum!! There is also a space that you can add your personal greeting.

You could use these for so many different occasions. Birthday, Wedding, Christmas, Baby Shower, etc.
Supplies used: Basic Black Card Stock, Cherry Cobbler Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, Love Letter Designer Series Paper, 5-Petal Flower punch, Basic Black 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Circle #2 Die, Neutrals Brads, White Gel Pen and velcro.

How would you like to make one of these at your Stampin' Up! workshop? How about a fun girls night out? Call or e-mail me to schedule your workshop!

Don't forget to check out my online store. While you are there check out the Last Chance Items and the Clearance Rack.

Have a great day!

Olivia's Birthday Invitations

Hello,

I want to share some birthday invitations that I made for my Granddaughter's soon-to-be 5th birthday. Olivia's birthday is June 24th and my daughter asked me to make her invitations. I let Olivia look through my Stampin' Up! catalog and between her and her mommy, this is what we came up with. She wanted to have a Hannah Montana party, so as soon as she saw the Grunge Rock stamp set with the guitar they decided this would be it. Thank goodness, my daughter was happy with the end results.

This is the inside of the invitations:

Supplies used: Grunge Rock stamp set, Party This Way stamp set, Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper (so sorry, but this DSP is retired) Rich Razzleberry card stock, Melon Mambo card stock, Whisper White card stock, Basic Rhinestones, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Ink Pads, 1 3/8" circle punch and 5-Petal Flower punch. (Sorry that I teased you with a retired Designer Series Paper, but watch for the new DSP coming out in the NEW catalog July 1st. So many great designs to choose from!)

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great day!

Because I Care

Hello,

Here is a card that I made this weekend using the Because I Care & Artistic Etchings stamp sets. I started with Cherry Cobbler card stock as my card base. I then stamped my image on Crumb Cake card stock. I am so used to adding more layers of card stock or designer series paper to my cards, so I thought I would challenge myself to make a fairly basic card. With only the Crumb Cake card stock as my layer, I dressed up my card by stamping the images with Because I Care & Artistic Etchings stamp sets. I then used the Color Spritzer Tool with the Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Marker, added Basic Pearls and Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon. How easy does that sound?

The NEW 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog comes out July 1st. This catalog is beautiful with 241 pages full of products and awesome ideas throughout the entire catalog! This catalog retails for $9.95, but I am offering it to my customers for $5.00. If you would like to pre-order one, please let me know by e-mailing me @ sraines1107@att.net. Host a Stampin' Up! workshop beginning July 1st and you will receive a FREE copy of this catalog along with other great Hostess Rewards.

Criss Cross Card

Hello,

Each month at our Stampin' Up! downline meeting we have a card swap. We each have a month that we are in charge of choosing what type of card we make for our swap. May was my month and I chose a Birthday card with a different kind of fold. My swap card was this Criss Cross card. This card was so much fun to design! After searching and searching the internet for different kinds of fold, I thought the Criss Cross card would be perfect. This type of card could be decorated for any holiday. Just think how cute a Christmas theme would be in this type of card. I'm sure I will make plenty more of this design!

I decided to keep the insert pretty simple, but you could do a lot more stamping!

Products used: Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper, Always Artichoke card stock, Whisper White card stock, Crumb Cake card stock, Party This Way stamp set, Corner punch, Boho Blossoms punch, Round Tab punch, Flower Daisies #2 Die and Neutrals Brads.

Please let me know if you have any questions!
