Fancy Favor

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog! Today I want to share a really cute box that I made with Stampin' Up! Fancy Favor bigz xl die. This is the first box that I have made with this die. Using the Big Shot from Stampin' Up! along with this die, you can create this box in a matter of minutes. I cut the Kraft card stock to fit the Fancy Favor die, then layer the card stock on top of the die and sandwich this in between the two extended cutting pads. Insert this into the Big Shot, crank the handle until it comes out the other side and Wah-Lah your box is cut out along with the fold lines. I used the Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel with Soft Suede ink to roll the image across the top of my box. I used Sending Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Scallop Trim Border Punch along the edge. I have been seeing these flowers everywhere on the internet, so I thought I would try to make one. I think it looks descent for my first try. This flower was really easy to make! I took Kraft card stock and Sending Love DSP and I used the Scallop Circle Punch to punch out 3 circles of each paper. I took each scallop circle and wadded it up in my hand. Then I unwrapped each scallop circle and layered each on top of one another. Using the paper piercer, I poked a hole through the center and I inserted a brad. I then scrunched up the scallop circles around the brad to resemble a flower. Use the paper piercer to make a small hole in the top front of the box and insert the brad with your flower.

This box was so easy!! Just think of all the occasions that you could decorate these for. They would make great wedding favors, baby shower favors, birthday party favors and etc. I'm sure that I will make several more. Please contact me at: sraines1107@att.net if you have any questions.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great day!
Shelly
