Aviary

Hello,

The card I have posted today is using two of my favorites: Aviary stamp set and Love Letter designer series paper. I just love this paper! It has a vintage look to it and that is what I like! Stampin' Up! designer series paper is double sided & coordinates perfectly with our color collections, stamp images and embellishments. Another one of my favorite SU products are the punches. I have used Boho Blossoms punch, Jewelry Tag punch and the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch on this card.

If you have any questions about any product used on this card, please let me know. Also, remember the great Sale-A-Bration promotion that Stampin' Up! is having now until March 31, 2011.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great day!

Elements of Style

Hello,

I hope you are having a great weekend! My daughter and two grandbabies came over today to visit before going to a Bridal Shower. About 45 minutes before the shower my daughter asked me to make a quick card for her friend's shower. I normally don't like to be rushed when I sit down to create a card, but I don't think it turned out to bad. She requested that I make it black & white, so this is what I came up with. (Sorry for the poor quality of this picture. I took the picture outside and every time I started to snap the picture the card would blow over from the wind.)

I used Basic Black card stock, Whisper White card stock, Elements of Style stamp set, Perfect Punches stamp set, the 1/2" Black Lace Trim actually came out of the Holiday Mini, Modern Label punch, Eyelet Border punch, Basic Black ink, Black and Silver brads. I also ruffed up the edges of the card stock using the Cutter Kit. The Cutter Kit includes a rotary cutter, perforating tool, scoring tool and a 7 sided distressing tool.

I love making handmade cards, so I'm really glad my daughter asked me to make it! Now....if only I could get busy on my scrapbooks! I am so far behind on them! That is going to be my next challenge, so hopefully I can share them with you soon.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great day!

It is Sale-A-Bration time!

Hello,

I will start by showing you my "Baby" card that I made, then I have some really exciting news to share about a promotion that Stampin' Up! has today-March 31st. When I started with this card I wanted to make something a little bit different from what I normally make. I don't know that I have made a baby card in the past, well maybe one. I had fun putting this card together! This stamp set is called Fox & Friends and it comes in wood mount or clear mount. There are 7 images in this set: a giraffe, fox, turtle, owl, monkey, whale and a lion. My card base is Marina Mist card stock, Very Vanilla card stock and Crumb Cake card stock. I used the same color ink pads as the card stock. That is one of the things I LOVE about Stampin' Up! So many of SU products color coordinate (card stock, inks, markers, ribbons, designer series paper, buttons, brads, etc.) I also used Marina Mist 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Tiny Tags stamp set, Jewelry Tag punch, Square Lattice embossing folder and Vintage Trinkets.

Now....How would you like to receive FREE product? Sale-a-Bration starts today - March 31, 2011. There are three ways to earn free products:

I {Heart} Hearts

Hello,

I wanted to make a quick post to show you another Valentine's Day card. Valentine's Day will be here in a blink of an eye. This card was made using Real Red Card Stock, Sahara Sand Card Stock, Crumb Cake Ink, Real Red Ink, Soft Suede Ink, I {Heart} Hearts stamp set, Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, Elements of Style stamp set, Two Tags Die, Word Window punch, Modern Label punch, 1-1/4" Real Red Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Victoria 5/8" Crochet Trim, Real Red brads and Basic Rhinestones.

This is a view of the card with the tag open on front of the card. I put the Happy Valentine's Day greeting inside the tag. (Click on each image to get a closer look) This card is prettier in person. It is hard to see in the picture, but I used the Elements of Style stamp set to stamp a background design on the Real Red card stock. Greeting Card Kids Trifold Card

Hello,

I wanted to share this Valentine's card that I made for our swap that we have at our monthly SU meetings. Each month we have a chance to sign up for an organized/themed card swap. This month I made 12 of these cards to swap with fellow demonstrators. I received so many awesome cards in return!

We had a guest speaker at our meeting yesterday. This is Robin Merriman, a Stampin' Up! demonstrator from Virginia. Robin has earned several awards and recognition from Stampin' Up! She has been on the Advisory Board for Stampin' Up! the last two years, which is one of the higher achievements in the company. I met Robin back in July (through my upline, Tiffany) at the Stampin' Up! Convention in Utah that I attended. We had an awesome time at our meeting yesterday. Thanks Robin for sharing all of the information!! (It was so nice to see you again!)

Now....this is my awesome upline Tiffany Bauer! (She may shoot me for posting this picture) I had asked her to take a picture of Robin and I. In the mean time, she felt left out so she snapped this picture of herself. (Hi Tiffany!) Tiffany has also earned several awards and recognition from Stampin' Up! At convention last year, Stampin' Up! named the top 100 Demonstrators and Tiffany was #37. How awesome is that?? (Thanks Tiffany for all that you do for your downline!)

Now...for the supplies used on my card: Greeting Card Kids stamp set, Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, Riding Hood Red card stock, Very Vanilla card stock, Love Letter designer series paper, Jet Black StazOn ink pad, Soft Suede classic ink pad, Riding Hood Red ink pad, Aqua Painter, Basic Pearls, Word Window punch and Modern Label punch.

I was pleased with the way this card turned out. Let me know what you think!

(I need to give credit for the layout of this card to Angie Juda. I did make a few changes, but the base of the card was cased from Angie)
