Happy Birthday with Elements of Style

Hello,

I hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day weekend! My weekend has been great, but busy so far. Saturday morning I drove to Hayesville to attend our monthly Stampin' Up! downline meeting. We always have such a great time when we are together! Training from our great upline, card swapping, sharing ideas, a make-n-take and just good ole' friendships! After leaving the meeting, I drove to Bloomington to attend my great-niece's 4th birthday party. Once again, we had a great time! Monday we are going to my parent's house for a cookout and to spend time with family.

This card that I have posted today uses one of my favorite stamp sets, Elements of Style. I love the vintage look and with this stamp set I can achieve that. This set comes in wood-mount or clear-mount. You can view the Elements of Style stamp set by clicking here.

Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge #203

This week I decided to play along with Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge #203. This is the first time that I joined in on one of their challenges. I had fun making this card. I actually made 2 cards with this sketch, so watch for another post this week and I will show you card #2.

I used Basic Black Card Stock, Cherry Cobbler Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, Love Letter DSP, Elements of Style stamp set, Aviary stamp set, Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, Ticket Corner Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Scallop Edge Border Punch, Modern Label Punch, Basic Pearls, Metallic Brads and 1/2" Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon.

Nature Walk

Hello,

I hope everyone has been enjoying this beautiful (warm) weather. I'm just glad that the rain has stopped for a while!

On this card that I posted today, I stamped with the set called Nature Walk. I love this stamp set! (I took this picture outside today and the sunlight makes the More Mustard card stock look bright) These colors together are prettier in person. The More Mustard card stock is more of a warm color than what it looks in this photo.
