Perfect Punches

Hello,

I hope everyone had a great weekend and survived this crazy Indiana weather. We had some really strong storms come through Indiana last night and into the early morning. We just had a lot of rain, lightning, thunder, with high winds. I know some surrounding cities had a lot of storm damage and my heart goes out to those families.

The card I want to share with you today uses the Perfect Punches stamp set. I found the idea for this card in the Occasions Mini Catalog. I also wanted to share a photo of my 3 year old grandson Lucas. He had surgery today to remove his tonsils and adenoids. This photo was taken about 2 hours after his surgery while still in the recovery room. He is one tough little boy!! He was such a trooper the whole time he was in the hospital. I want to wish him a speedy recovery!! Love you Lucas!!

A Birthday Card for my Mom

Hello,

Today my Mom is celebrating her 70th birthday. I wanted to make a quick post to show you the card I made for her birthday. She loves flowers, so I used the floral image from the Because I Care stamp set. I posted another card using this same stamp set that you can see here. This is what the inside of the card looked like.


We just got home from my daughter's house. She invited my mom and dad over for supper, so we ate and then celebrated with cake and ice cream. The meal was delicious and we had a great time!

Can you believe it?

Well....it is hard to believe, but I met my challenge to make a scrapbook page. I am so far behind with my scrapbook pages, so I am challenging myself to complete more layouts more often. I will be sharing them with you as I get them finished.

I created this page for our 2010 Christmas pictures with many more pages to follow. I can't decide if I like this page. After I completed the page, I'm thinking it looks kind of busy?? Let me know what you think!

Aviary Again?

Hello,

I hope everyone is surviving this crazy weather. We were lucky with this last Winter Storm. We received mostly rain, a little freezing rain, lots of wind and finally snow. Areas surrounding us received a lot of ice. I am very happy that we missed that part of the storm!

The card I have posted today uses the same stamp set as my last post. I really enjoy stamping with the Aviary stamp set. You can view this stamp set here. I started off by using Very Vanilla card stock as the base of my card. I used the Love Letter designer series paper, Basic Black card stock, Aviary stamp set, Elements of Style stamp set, Tiny Tags stamp set, 3/8" Twill Tape, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch, Photo Corner punch, Eyelet Border punch, Jewelry Tag punch, Basic Pearls, Brads and Vintage Trinkets.
